Mahee Island - situated between Killinchy and Comber. 9 hole golf course nestling beside Strangford Lough.
Ringdufferin - situated between Killinchy and Killyleagh. 18 hole course with views across Strangford Lough. A few hills on the back nine.
Scrabo - between Comber and Newtownards.
Clandeboye - between Newtownards and Bangor. Two 18 hole courses.
Crossgar - situated just outside Crossgar. 9 hole golf course with good views across Crossgar to the Mourne Mountains.

Birds can be viewed from various access points around Strangford Lough with Castle Espie in Comber being a major centre


WALKING
There are a number of walks to do in this part of Down. Sections of the Ulster Way can be found close by and the Mourne Mountains can be reached within about a 40 minute drive.


SHOPPING
There are a number of good shopping towns within easy reach by car - Newtownards, Bangor,Lisburn etc.
