From the airport follow the signs to Belfast which will bring you onto the M2 motorway.
Follow this road into Belfast. Where it joins the M5 and becomes a 5 lane motorway.
All mileage distances are given from this point. Only items marked in bold require
any action, all others are reference points only.
Take lane marked"Belfast (E) Bangor M3"
Next signpost "Belfast (E) Newcastle City Airport Bangor M3"
Signpost M3 road branches right 2.1miles
Signpost "A2 Belfast (E) Newcastle Queens Island 1/2 mile"
At bridge move one lane to your left 2.5 miles
Signpost "Belfast (E) Newcastle Queens Island 2.7 miles

Follow A20 Newtownards signpost by taking the inside lane

You will see a building with Stanley Racing marked on it
Turn right at traffic lights 3.7miles
Stanley Racing building will now be on your left. This is Castlereagh Street.
At traffic lights stay in outside lane 3.9miles
Traffic lights go straight 4.0miles
This is now Castlereagh Road
(From here it is basically a straight Road until you get to Ballygowan 7.3 miles
from this point)

Stay in middle two lanes 5.4miles

Continue uphill on A23 for 5.2 miles

At roundabout take the continuation of the A23 signposted "Killyleagh/Killinchy" 11.9miles

Continue along this road for 2.1miles
Church on left hand side 14.0miles
Turn left at signpost "Killinchy 4" 14.1miles
This is the Kilcarn Road which eventually becomes the Saintfield Road and The Barn
is 1.5miles along this Road on the right hand side.
Directions from M1 Motorway
Take the exit for Lisburn/Saintfield marked A49
Take the A49 Saintfield road and after 1.5 miles turn left into the B6 still following the
signs for Saintfield
After 4 miles you arrive at a staggered crossroads at Temple. Continue straight across onto the B6 again
following signs for Saintfield.
After 3 miles you will arrive in Saintfield.
Go straight through the village and you will come to a set of traffic lights at the bottom of the hill.
Continue straight through these lights.
After 1.3 miles at a right hand bend you will see a sign for Killinchy. Turn left along
this road and after 1 mile you will come to a staggered crossroads.
Go straight across. There is a sign marked " Killinchy 4 ". This is the Kilcarn Road
which eventually becomes the Saintfield Road. Continue along this road and after a
bad S bend you will see a straight road. After the crossroads the road goes up a hill
and you will see the Barn on your right hand side. You will have travelled 1.5 miles
from the start of the Kilcarn Road.
